Dawn in Austria. A lot of policemen enter in 23 different premises with guns, battering down doors, harassing the people inside. They take 10 people under arrest. Dangerous terrorists? War criminals? Drug dealers?

Animal activists. There haven’t been any concrete charges yet_, so they are basically prisoners of conscienceconscience. Some of them are in a hunger strike. It’s somewhat amazing that all that can happen in Austria in 2008.
