The book generated emotions and fears I haven't experienced from a book in a long time. I saw the movie too, after I read it. I found the movie was even more disturbing than the book. I thought it was an excellent film, but it took me days, if not weeks, to stop thinking about it. Glad you ‘enjoyed’ reading it.
