Actually, It is a subject I had already discussed with him. So I showed him the article today and he went one step further towards the use of a wiki. He is now speaking of convincing his own boss…

He was convinced by the point 2 because he recently looked for a document for several hours ! This point seemed pretty obvious to me, so I guess I did not insist enough on it or maybe it was just because it was before he looked for this document.

The biggest problem with Wikis is the markup. It’s horrible!

Vetle: yeah, I feel your pain. I personally dislike both MediaWiki’s and Trac Wiki’s format, and I use them everyday :-)

But I’m somewhat used now, so it’s bearable. I’d prefer using the old TWiki format or, even better, Textile or Markdown.
